Can we stop listing 4073sprue in item inventory? I can't be the only one
that finds this difficult to order replacement parts when the sprue is listed.
There are currently 284 "4073sprue" listed for sale while there are
nearly 300,000 #4073 listed for sale. I have never even received 4073sprue in
any new Lego set.
What do you mean by that? According to the catalog, these parts were released
between 1980 and 1993. Have you opened any of those sets listed at the link below
which should contain this part?

No, they mean that they are annoyed because BL inventories list the parts as
found in New sets, so with the sprue, but they are restoring Used sets, so they’d
want the 4073 listed as separate parts.
🤷♂️

Well, there’s been promises of a bright new future where there would be multiple
views / multiple inventories for a set: Sealed New and Used (and maybe “main
build only”?)….
Otherwise, yes, the catalogue needs to choose a convention and it’s New Sealed,
so you need to work out yourself what is needed for Used (or main build only).
They exist and have been in sets so they need to be in the catalogue where sellers
can list them and buyers can find them
