The seller claimed he sent my order correctly so that i wouldn't have to
be double charged for vat twice. Clearly the seller hasn't got a clue. so
i had to suddenly pay 50 euro extra for a mistake the seller did. I have tried
to contact bricklink for many weeks now with proof of double paid vat so i can
get my money back, but i get no replies from them either. hopefully sending a
message through here can get an inch of attention. Thanks for any help.

wow what a great reply. Really appreciate it. It has worked fine from all over
the world, maybe you can't do it correctly but that shouldn't stop others
when i literally inform the sellers every time, link and all.
Many seller will do what they have to do - still, many buyers are taxed twice.
I had to refund a full order because I had an European complaint saying I was
a crook making the buyer pay tax twice
BrickLink is supposed to refund this, but does NOT.
Much more - there's NO WAY to transmit electronically a tax number on a stamp.
That means cheap / normal shipments are impossible or buyer will systematically
pay twice. I had to remove Norway of our cheap shipping options.
In short, your Country decided this, and see how many problems that creates.
And it's often / more often NOT the seller's fault.
yorbrick reply is correct. Search "Norway" in forum otherwise?
