It kind of reminds me of the discussion a while back about inconsistencies with
minifig parts manufactured at the Chinese factories, where the designs/quality
of plastic aren’t quite the same despite them being genuine LEGO. I notice it
the most with some CMF torsos, and yours is from a CMF. Maybe that’s the difference?
Do you notice any differences in the arms/hands between the two torsos? I’m definitely
not an expert, but one common identifier I’ve noticed with those odd CMF torsos
is that the arms have molding numbers in a rectangle, almost always with a “B”
- for example, a right arm with “04-B16R” instead of the usual microprinted LEGO
logo with just molding numbers (ex. 17-46) or nothing at all in the case of vintage
torsos.
