When I am buying 'everything' from a Wanted list and I use the auto select
feature, sometimes I get a 'frown face' that tells me item(s) are unavailable.
However, it doesn't let me know what those items actually are! Unless I
print out the entire Want List along with the items from the selected stores
and compare everything, can I then find which items are unavailable.
This SUCKS.

Use the Wanted Items tab on the left ((2) on first pic here: https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=2445
).
That will show the items in your list(s).

After selection:
If the left checkbox is ticked, all the items are shown. If it’s NOT ticked,
then those that were found are hidden.
So, unticked = the remaining items are NOT in the pre-carts.

Before selection:
Click on the store line in the list (not its name), the quantity for each item
is changed from “N” to “n/N”, indicating how many of each item that store has.
The colour of the border also changes:
— Green = the store has what you want,
— Yellow = the store has the item but not enough quantity,
— Red = the store doesn’t have the item.
