Part No: 4491b Name: Horse Saddle with Clips
*
4491b Horse Saddle with Clips
Parts: Animal, Accessory {White}

There is no picture and also no set to find. As the part doesn't exist. But
I have it in my collection (unfortunately both clips broken)...so where is it
from?

Looks a very faded yellow rather than a yellowed white.

Don’t know where the white parts for sale have come from, especially as some
are listed as new.

The pic is either of a yellowed-White saddle or badly colour-balanced… but it’s
not Yellow.

4491a exists in White in two sets… but in 1984… so I doubt they were still produced
in 1990 with 4491b…

There’s also a couple for sale / sold… but then, if BL sellers were to be trusted…

I’ve had the odd old yellow item almost bleached white, however if you look underneath
it’s normally closer to the original colour.

It´s definitely white. The light was quite bad, didn´t see it. I will post a
new picture later today

Here are some new pictures.

I have reached out to one of the sellers of the white saddle. He said it was
a prototype from Billund. He reached out to LEGO.

As my saddle has two broke clips, it is probably worth nothing.

Not necessarily worth big money, but perhaps not worth ZERO.

As the prices for horse saddles can get pretty expensive, it can be tricky for
buyers who are looking for low-priced saddles.

That's me -- I just want low-priced saddles and I don't care if the
clips are busted. Neither my knights or my maidens or my soldiers or my cowboys
worry about that. They are just plastic minifigs and can survive without clips
to hold their flags or weapons

So, don't discard horse saddles with broken clips -- somebody will want
to buy them.

Sold many of both types with broken clips, they do sell.
