Hi everyone - hoping you can help me with this.
I just got an email from bricklink as a seller informing me that someone wants
to buy all of my store stock; it is showing as an order in my bricklink page
too.
It also asked me though for a separate verification link process(see below);
I am not wanting to share my bank details or get scammed and all of this feels
problematic… I can see it as a legitimate order though and don’t know what to
do re invoice etc. Any feedback welcome.

Yes it’s a scam, please see the line at the top of messages that specifically
states the message was not sent by bricklink. (Ps, great job for not including
the link! You’d be surprised how many times people post the actual link 😅)

Thanks all for helping with this - it did seem super sketchy! Did you subsequently
just select Order Cancellation Request on your Seller page and cite that it was
a scam?

If it was sent through bricklink messageing, there should be this text on the
top of the message:
CAUTION: This message originated from another BrickLink member and not a BrickLink
employee or administrator. Please avoid clicking on any links, sending funds,
or replying with any personal information.
------------------------------------------------------------
If it was directly sent to your email address, then we know why they did not
sent the message through BL messaging system!
It might be the best for everybody to include a
no-reply-XXXXX@YYYYY.com
type email that people understand you don't answer through email. I was also
requested to do business outside BL for a discount, falsifying custom forms,....
directly to my email address, and this is because they did not want to be caught
and leave any evidence accessible to verify by Bricklink help desk.

Find an order cancellation and complete it. Make sure you click/check on
- retain
- return
so that your items will be returned to your store otherwise you have to relist
them one-by-one again!

Same here, so it's ok to cancel the order... just ensure all items are retained,
no need to report as user has already been reported... thanks
