The report button is also frequently abused – often without any real proof. Just
one click can bring a seller into trouble, even if they did nothing wrong.
Maybe reporting should only be possible through a support ticket with actual
evidence, instead of being anonymous and mass-abused.
If something is reported then an admin is meant to look and take action if the
report is correct and no action if the report is false. Putting a barrier in
the way of reporting allows sellers to get away with breaking rules.
And: Each shop should be able to choose whether reviews are visible to customers
– at least for a certain period after opening. That would prevent coordinated
fake reviews from destroying a new store immediately.
So you want to allow scammers to open a store and hide all the negative feedback
they get? That obviously won't happen.

– In the Discord servers of these people, customer names and data were also shared
and misused.
I took screenshots of all this and submitted them to support, because this is
a clear violation of data protection laws – but support did nothing. […]
BrickLink can’t do anything on Discord (or Youtube or whatever). BrickLink can
only act on BrickLink.
If those people don’t respect privacy laws on those sites, it’s those sites that
must do something; it’s to those sites that the people whose privacy was broken
need to complain.
I feel sorry for the situation you are in for som time now.
As this apparantly goes back a long time, my advice would be:
1. end this account
If any negativity is attached to it, it will end also
2. open a new account
Go through the hassle registering as a seller; there will be plenty fellow BL-ers
to help you get the needed number of sales and feedback to proceed. I'm sure
I can be one of them.
3. build on your new account
4. report any suspiscious behavior
ON THIS site (= BrickLink) immediately to the support team; what people do elsewhere
might be harmful but ignore it; or like said in another reply: report it OVERTHERE
Do not stay in the swamp of negativity, as it will harm your health in the end....
The search for truth (if there is any...) will not on BrickLinks plate. It can
only act on misbehavious here.
There is no truth, just perspectives and opinions.
I cannot see much of what was said in this thread, but I don't think users
are allowed to close their account and start a new one.

Why not?
I can't find that in the 'rules'. I do find this:
You are limited to one (1) account on this Site unless we have granted you
permission to have additional accounts, such permission being in our sole discretion.
You may access the Site with your account credentials. You may not transfer or
sell your account or account credentials to another party.
Ending one account and starting another from scratch is not in violation with
this statement. Right?

If it is allowed, it sure would be a good way to get rid of negative feedback
and NSS and NPB.

There was a seller who tried this a few years ago and got shut down almost immediately
(I don't think his "new" store was ever approved).
I would hope that BL would spot (especially if reported by a user) that unregistering
then re-registering was done to clear poor performance metrics and block it.
