If I currently have items on sale and update pricing due to lot merger via file
import or on platform part out, will the sale remain or be removed?
If I drop pricing, I would want the individual item sale percentage to come off
so that I am not double discounting.
Not sure how these functions work in conjunction.
That's under your control, at least when parting out (near the bottom of
the form). File import looks similar but the fields are in a different spot on
the form

Whenever doing a mass update to pricing, first close your store, then back-up,
run the update, check it worked, then re-open your store.
You are responsible for the pricing. If you mess up and prices are accidentally
slashed and someone purchases, then you should honour the prices. Closing the
store stops anyone buying until you have had time to correct the mistake.
Understood! Thanks for the input. I'm just doing modest reprices at the moment,
I have yet to do a full inventory reprice, but it will be coming when I fully
work out the model.
