Good morning, Fellow Lego professors.
I am a collector and casual reseller. My question is on mini fig series
Should I buy sealed unverified bags Or just buy the complete sealed set that
is verified by upc. Also can all minifig sets be verified by upc. I just don't
know whether to buy a sealed set or just a sealed case. Thank you for your knowledge
and feedback.

There is no way to verify what is in blind bags with the UPC code as far as I
know.
The newer CMF series have boxes with a QR code that can be scanned with a 99%
accuracy.

The very old series used to have a (barcode I think?) you could scan to see which
one you have, but that was only for a few series

I did not know that. Learn something new everyday

Series 1 and 2. Then there were the dot codes for another 4 or 5 series until
we had to rely on feeling.
The way I have seen as verified by upc is they find 16 or 20 or how ever many
that series had and then they look for that many unique upc codes.
Thank you for the reply and input
