Wow! I feel so sorry for your team!
I was looking to see if a suggestion had already been posted, and the list was
beyond insane, how can anyone find anything???
How can the team doing work prioritize which area to work on first?
How many duplicates must be in there??
How many things are nearly identical, and could be implemented at the same time,
if they were properly grouped together for you to see their similarities?
I realise to fix this properly, you would need to upgrade this whole software
.
In meantime, Even if you start by requesting people choose from a list of key
words to use at the beginning of a subject field eg:
So for my subject it would be:
SITE-IMP-Group Suggestions in titles
This could be started now, i'm sure if say the last 10 posts had their title
modified, people would see the basic pattern, and start following it. (mostly,
you may need to tweak a couple ).
Is there a way to pin post to top of list, a 'read this first' kind of
thing. Start with a few in there eg; above. Even that would cut the effort down
by a 1/4 looking for an existing item to vote on, rather than posting again.

Just about every suggestion gets ignored anyway, so it doesn't matter if
there are repeats. They prioritise what management tells them to work on.
BrickLink does not acknowledge or implement the Suggestions topic to my knowledge.
It’s just still there from 3 owners ago.
