It's very difficult for me to identify the 2 items in the trans clear color,

As far as I know, almost all transparent colours are using the 3003old mould
(and 3001old and 3002old) but they are almost all under the 3003 entry (and 3001
and 3002).

Only parts from before 1984-ish are in the 3003old entry.

and look at the colour pics and, AFAICT, only Trans-Light Blue and Trans-Neon
Green clearly show struts.

I guess with the shift from CA to MABS, LEGO will use modern/struted moulds for
these parts… but maybe not: after all, they have been making special moulds for
transparent parts for ages and they are still making new ones (7134, 7261).

Do you mean PC (polycarbonate) to MABS?

I have one Trans-Light Blue brick 2x2 with the old mold, without the supports
inside
