Part No: 58247 Name: Minifigure, Weapon Gun, Blaster SW Standard
* 		58247 Minifigure, Weapon Gun, Blaster SW Standard
Parts: Minifigure, Weapon {Black}
have a logo or a C on them ? or are there some of
the older ones that don't have either ? Looking at the date then I would
guess they probably do need a logo ?

It is normal that earlier versions of this gun are not marked. The same for bars
L4/lightsaber blades and some other small parts.
