What would you make of this message attached to an order from a brand new Bricklink
user?
Can you provide the list of bricks that is missing from this purchase to build
the Darth Vader Mega Figure
I figure they imported moc instructions from a 3rd party. Likely Rebrickable.
I think that they most likely do not understand the multi-party relationship.
Is this something that a dealer would reasonably be expected to accommodate?
I would not consider this request to be reasonably expected from sellers. If
you know where he got the instructions/parts list you could do it if you feel
like it but would probably take quite some time and we all know time = money.
I would write something like this:
Hello XX,
I am not sure what you mean. I can only provide a list of pieces you ordered
from me, I do not know what pieces you already have or have ordered from other
stores for this build. I also do not know what pieces are required to build it,
so I cannot provide a list of missing parts.
I would be inclined to offer a little more help. Certainly if it is a new member
of the community .

Great you are building this MOC! As you might know the purchase in my store
is only PART of the total of elements for this MOC.
You can compare the total list of it in a tool like BrickStore (link available
on request), deduct the parts you ordered here (and maybe at other stores), and
you have a remaining list of parts you still require to build the MOC.
If you need any assistance on using the BrickStore tool, please read some helpfull
posts in the forum or feel free to ask it there. Many members are able to help
you getting started!
