Is there a way to turn off the Notify Members option in the menu, or clear off
the number without sending notifications? I would rather not send out notifications
at all than send out repeat notifications.

I am a new store. I added about 6500 parts before I discovered you could add
in the cost for tracking purposes. About the same time, I also discovered BrickStore.
I have been updating the cost (etc) in BrickStore, then uploading into BrickLink.
To prevent quantity issues, I have been uploading from BrickStore, then deleting
the old inventory from BrickLink. Unfortunately, this causes the Notify Members
count to go up.

the number without sending notifications? I would rather not send out notifications

I don't think you can cancel notifications.
You may not click "Send notifications" even for years, but as soon as
you'll click they'll all be sent. I'm not sure if there's a kind
of purge system for this...
Keep using BrickStore of course, but simply don't delete inventory and upload
it. Use mass UPDATE (not upload) instead, and they will be no quantity issue.

Put up with the notifications number for a month while adding further inventory,
then send. I imagine many buyers ignore the notifications anyway.
