Hello! I'm new at using Stud.io. I am working on a project with a winch.
I was wondering if it were possible to wind up one of the strings I've attached
here. The point is that I want it to be so that when you turn the gear, one string
goes up, and the other goes down.

Hi,

Flexing the string is possible but, at the moment, a real pain.
See https://studiohelp.bricklink.com/hc/en-us/articles/6481921905303-Flexible-parts

Physics aren’t possible.  So turning a gear that would then drive another is
not possible.  Winding a rope would be even more complicated and is therefore
even less possible.

That being said, the dedicated forum for Studio and PartDesigner is https://forum.bricklink.com/

Thanks! I wasn't sure where the best place for discussion of Stud.io techniques
was.
