Now, the Coach bag of her dreams is very pricey, so if you’ d like to place an
order with me this evening, I promise not to use those funds on any of the tables
we'll pass on way to the casino restaurants Incidentally, have a bridge

I know a tip for making money at the casino,
Don’t go in, if people actually made money there, the casino would be broke!

Smart man. But, Viva Las Vegas!
Seriously though, alway moderate that mindless activity by going in with a wad,
and leaving when it's gone or when up Regardless, never increasing
the predetermined amount.
The mindset is "This ten grand I'm throwing away" There's a bin
on the left. But let's see if some fun can be had while temping fate, beforehand

What about the needy?
Go ahead and expand on what you mean by "the needy?"

Those in need of LEGO, why not make a donation with the money instead of giving
it to millionaires?

In need of LEGO? Maybe reexamining the term "need" in this context? As
to "giving it to millionaires" Well, don't know that the Snoqualmie
Indian Tribe exactly qualify as such, not 99% of the tribe members benefiting,
anyways
We happen to donate LEGO every year to homeless shelters, in any case. And give
to every homeless on the street my daughter spies. But yeah, certainly could
find a better use of the those monies... Your point is well taken.

Frankly Saitobricks is saying this a bit naively -- for obvious reasons.
However, I agree I can think of 10,000 more constructive ways to use such amount
of money than to get an adrenalin shot in a casino. But happy you can do this!
My gambling extends to a couple of lottery tickets now and again, no more than
three or four times a year and my stake money, about £2 - £3 at a time.
My odds at winning on these will be much less than the casino but I’ve never
been able to see the appeal of losing large sums of money, the house always wins,
well almost always.

Never have bought lottery tickets or played slots, etc, doesn't do it for
me. I enjoy cards. Especially poker, where the "house" is dealing. Playing
against the house in Blackjack for example, works for me too. But it's not
nearly as rewarding, nor that fun.
Truth be told, haven't let myself enjoy that type of activity in years. Just
not as sharp or risk tolerant as once was. Won't be doing so today either.
Today's a day with my daughter not sitting round a table with strangers.
Honestly, had a meeting at one of these restaurants just last month. In walking
through the casino floor, passing the tables brought back memories of good times,
is all. Those times however, will remain as memories. Won't be new ones made

Lottery tickets don’t do anything for me either, it’s just in hope of a result,
often don’t check tickets for weeks.
Hope you and your daughter have/had a great day, that’s what’s important.

Just got back, had a wonderful day.
They had the exact tote bag she wanted, picked out a few items from another of
her favorite brands, Banana Republic, and had lunch at a new (to us) joint with
fantastic food and service, our new go-to eatery when in the area
Left early, though was delayed by a horrific accident on the I-5. Fatality it
seemed to us, involving a state trooper vehicle.

You got it, that’s how they make their money
