for the courier and asked them if they were aware there may be customs charges
and/or taxes applicable upon delivery into their country. They have now asked
me how much this will be and if they could cancel. We just spent about 30-40
minutes packing the order (about £200 worth). Any advice please on how I should

1) Create shipping methods and automate the process.
2) NEVER EVER start any other work than an eventual invoicing before buyer has
fully paid.
3) This time, just do as the buyer wish, sometimes you've to work for free.
You can count your losses in your prices or fees, it's how sellers should
do.

I would cancel.
I would also add that any custom fees/duties/taxes are for the buyer in your
terms if you dont already have it in there.
and in your shipping methods there is an option that buyers need to supply a
phone number for orders.
