I'm using BrickStore to update inventory and prices. If I pull my store
inventory and adjust prices, is there a way to keep the price guide (in BS) to
only recognize USD as the default currency?
My settings are defaulted to USD, but when I view the Price Guide (images below)
it looks like it's pulling data for all currencies (for the current inventory
prices). I have it set to exclude VAT. I've attached a couple of pictures
for reference.
The Price guide on BL is sorted by currency (Sort USD at the top). The Price
Guide listed in BS appears to be pulling the last Six Months data as USD (rounded
up), but it looks like it is including all currencies for the "Current Inventory"
Is this a default setting?
Do I need to change something?
Am I overlooking something?
I hope this explains what I'm thinking LOL. Thanks for your help

You can NOT set it to "check on USD prices".
Much more, this wouldn't mean what you think, as some shops have USD as currency
and aren't located in USA. So you're wishing to look at USA prices only?
Sorry it doesn't.
And it's fine (IMO), it's a whole World we're all living on

Except there can be large differences in prices, especially between German and
USA sellers. I would guess most of my customers only buy from USA stores, so
I only need USD to see my competition.

Correction, as 1001 said, you need “prices in US stores.”
I also wish for this feature in Brickstore.
In any case, that reminds me of this joke:
A guy walks in a street and sees a hairdresser with a big sign “Nationwide Best
Hairdresser Award 2024” in the shop window.
He walks a bit more and sees another one with an even bigger sign “World’s Best
Hairdresser Award 2024.”
He walks a bit more and enters another hairdresser’s shop with a small carton
with “Best hairdresser of the street.”

Joe
Yes! This is it! I have recently switched over to "group by currency"
so I can track only the US stores. Don't ask me why I haven't done it
sooner . I concur with you Joe, on the US buyers only buying from the states
(shipping etc - or other reasons). I want to see where my items stand against
the competition. The question is, do all US buyers group their currency, or
do they view the whole price guide?

No - it shows you shops that have USD as their price currency.
Including the ones in Belgium, Poland, Asia, or wherever.

But it is odd that BS would pull only the US price data for the last six months
data but include the entire BL price guide for the current. To me, it should
be equal in both aspects.
I even tried looking on Github (for brickstore) to see if there's been anyone
else to bring this up.
Having the world wide sellers popping up with USD is ok. In some of the instances,
they were are the top (well, bottom for lowest price). While it may impact the
"sale", based on location, I'm ok with them popping up.

So you're wishing to look at USA prices only?
Yes, strictly for pricing.
Sorry it doesn't.
I might submit a ticket on Github and see if that's something he can fix.

It doesn't do this!
It takes ALL prices in all currencies and converts them into the current document
currency (which is by default the Settings default currency).

It's not a fix, it's a new functionnality you're asking for.
