done it before and I don't want to split the torso.
I think you can do it a couple times without cracking anything. I did it all
the time when I was a kid. It is a little easier with the still on for leverage,
but they'll pop out okay.

I find it easiest if I move the arm backwards and gently pull up.

You're 100% correct on the hands thing. You need that little bit of extra
leverage. My thumbs are nearly raw after a few hundred of these things.

No they're all brand new, I was just trying to avoid the extra work and risk
of damaging the torso/arms.
