When I use the top search box on the site, for searching some part in "my
inventory", I get the results but the top search box is cleared (also back
to "all items". In the old UI it didn't do that.

it saves it for me, have you accepted all cookies and tried clearing cache and
trying again or trying on another device?

I've tried deleting cookies. It seems now the selection of "my store
inventory" stays but the text box is still being reset.
