I think only the image used as the first image for the small and large images
gets the credit on the part page. However, on the colour images page, everyone
that uplaoded the alternative colours gets credit, such as here:

I don't think they contact or tell you if an image is rejected, or tell you
why.

are no visible credit for them.
Are you sure you don't know what images you submitted? It seems to me that
you could go to the Catalog item in question, navigate to the Large Images, and
see what's there.

You can see what you have submitted while it is pending, but once the submission
of an additional image is processed I dont have an option to see it anymore in
an overview. I cant see if it was added or rejected and only can look at the
item page by myself out of memory. If you add a lot of items you may not remeber
all and therefore can not check if it was added.

As it seems many members agree that additional images are very important for
the catalog, therefore I started a suggestion to acknowledge such submission.
Giving credit to contributors could encourage more members to add additional

Yes, but as the others pointed out in this overview additional images do not
show up in the statistics. Actually I wrote about the "My activity" overview
in this suggestions post: https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1500250 to
bring it back, so you dont have to always use the link.
