I don't know if this is the right topic here, but it's an annoying problem.
I keep getting the following error message:
Only one item/color combination is allowed per Wanted List
The problem here is that I only created the Wanted List this month and it worked
fine, I edited it and had no problem with it. And now suddenly out of the blue
I get this error message.
Guys, that's not how it works! If you tinker with the database - all well
and good - but please make sure that the rest continues to work smoothly.
I just want to edit the number or remove parts, I need to be able to save that!
At least show which part is causing problems.

Hi,
Parts mergings in the catalogue does that.
AFAIK, if you open your WL, the duplicate(s) should be marked.
No, this has nothing to do with duplicates. These are wanted lists that were
generated from sets, some parts were removed and no other manipulation took place.
From time to time I removed parts or minimised their number when I bought parts.
This no longer works, nor can I say that I have 3 of a part (this would also
be possible), as soon as I want to save the error message appears.
I can only imagine that changes have been made in the catalogue, as this is an
old set and old and new moulds have recently been merged. Of course, the set
only contains old moulds.

This has to do with duplicates. The way the WL were populated doesn’t prevent
this from happening:
— in your WL, you have one line with 3626bpb0001 and another with 3626cpb0001
(just an example part, I don’t know what you have in your WLs ),
— the catalogue merges both parts into 3626nothingpb0001,
— you now have two lines with 3626pb0001, duplicates, without doing anything
yourself.
And, of course, if you check the inventories, they have been affected with the
changes too, so you don’t see any obvious difference.
I’m not saying this is okay. I’m just saying that‘s what happens. Just search
for the error message in the forum and you’ll see all the posts that had the
same problems… and the same solution.
