On 5th Dec 2024 I received a fees invoice from Bricklink for a total amount of
only $0,36.
Usually this would be carried over to next billing cycle.
However in this invoice it is clearly stated: "Although your balance is below
the threshold, you are being billed this month for tax settlement purposes."
So I understand I have to pay my fees even thought they are only $0.36.
The problem is that I am unable to pay by card. An error message "Stripe
process error. Please try again" is always displayed when I try to pay by
card.
Is this because of the very low amount to be paid ?
As I'm based in EU, I'd prefer to avoid using Paypal due to extra fees
applied for foreign currency payments.
I tried to contact Bricklink help desk, but I had no response since 12th Dec.

While not an ideal solution, I would pay by any means possible.
Is it really worth losing your selling status over a few francs/cents for paying
via PayPal?
Stores have been closed for not paying the fees and posted about in the forum.
From what I've read, I would view the few cents as an inoculation against
potential loss of privilege and the consequences thereof.
Add your bank card to your PayPal account and pay using the card issuer’s exchange
rate instead of PayPal’s rate.
Many thanks for the suggestion, that might actually work to avoid Paypal extra
fees. i'll give it a try.
I still don't understand why am I getting this error message when trying
to pay directly by card on BL website.

Some card processors won't process transactions that are less than $1. That
being said, it's absolutely beyond insane that BL is issuing invoices for
less than $1 if they can't process the payment.

Its not insane, its simple accounting.
Bricklink normally invoices every month when a certain limit is reached. ($5
if you are in the US, $10 if you are outside the US I believe)
But at the end of the year they will invoice you for any outstanding balance
because they want to close their financial year.
