the messages after you're logged in to the device? I often catch myself
in the same situation but it's because I went from one device to another
and was logged out on the second device.

For example, if I go to this page for the general topic, there are posts by
a user I selected to ignore.
If I click on the post by that user (or any other in the thread), the post is
missing in the tree below.
Yup, I tested it on you for this thread.
- Ignore Threads: Sees everything on the forum page and everything in the tree.
- Ignore Messages: You see everything on the forum page, but only messages in
the tree disappear.
- Ignore Messages and Threads: See everything on the forum page, messages in
the tree disappear.
