I would like to request you add "illness" to the reasons for temporary
store closure. We try to stay open but when I get very sick, it is not possible.
Plus, I would hate to pass that illness to a customer.
Can you please add "illness" to reasons for store closure.
If this was under "suggestions", I would vote yes.

It seems silly to put it under other.
Just a suggestion, thank you.
Why would you want bricklink to know that you are ill? Especially if you are
worried about personal data, just select other and enter none of your business.
And if you are ill with a disease that can be passed on by post, then customers
are probably best off avoiding your store even when you reopen.

"illness" might not be the best option but for example if you are injured
or such a more generic term might help buyers a bit more

Bricklink doesn't publish the chosen reason for closing though, do they?
I thought this was for internal use only. If a seller wants to inform the public
about illness or anything else when closing, they can put details in the optional
box.

Correct. I don’t know why your store is closed.
And I guess your “Message from Seller” is empty… but it still shows and that’s
confusing because the text below is clearly not by you (it says “the seller,”
not “I”).

Putting the real reason in my store would be bad form ... but it has something
to do with no fees on ebay right now.
