Is there a limit on how far back you can search your previous orders?
In particular, I'm looking to see if I have ever ordered a specific part.
I'm confident that I did but I can't find it in my collection. It tried
searching the through my previous orders but I'm only seeing my last four
orders. I even changed the date range.

If you've kept your email, then you can search there. Order Confirmations
include the part name and color.

Exact order details are purged after 6 months (unless it’s a problem order).
If you keep your emails you can check for your orders email but otherwise there
isn’t anything
