I have been entering my collection into the system and am trying to evaluate
some of my unopened sets. I am having difficulties finding some of them in the
system. Is there a historical record for older sets?

Hi,

The simplest way to find a set is with its number.
Enter each number there https://www.bricklink.com/catalogTree.asp?itemType=S
and you should find your sets.

You can also post pics and all the info you have in the Catalog Identification
topic and members will help you find it (generally in a few minutes).

The sets are in the system, what is not is a cost to evaluate it. As there are
no unopened sets for sale. I would believe someone at sometime had the sets for
sale, so what I was asking is there a historical area that shows sales of sets
and the prices they sold for example 6091. This one exists but no unopened boxes
are for sale.

Sales data is only available for the last six months. If none have sold in the
last six months, then there will be no sales data.

You could use a site like camelcamelcamel or brickeconomy. I know some people
hate them, but they have stats.

If there are no sealed sets for sale to find the price just look at the best
condition one, then estimate from there how much someone would pay for it sealed
