Good morning everyone,
a few months ago I received an email regarding the new European law DAC7.
I was asked to provide additional personal data.
I sent all the requested documentation and the moderator tells me that everything
is in order.
The 3 green boxes are COMPLETE - COMPLETE - APPROVED.
For a few days now, this message has been appearing on the list of orders received:
EU Compliance Alert
For DAC7, some EU sellers are required to submit additional documents to maintain
their online stores. Ignore this message if you have updated your dashboard earlier.
If you have not done so already, please update your information by November 30,
2024 to avoid account suspension.
I wanted to know if it is an automatic message that appears to everyone or only
to those who are not in order?
In the second case, I have provided all the requested documentation and at the
moment no other documentation. Do I risk closure?

Hi,
Same here. I completed everything and received the confirmation email.
This message appears on the "order reveived" page. So I suppose this
is an automatic message.
I am a bit puzzled by this too.
Complete can mean, in my idea, a few things.
Must we complete these 2 things or are the already complete?
In the latter case I would prefer the word ‘completed’, that really means it
is done.

My question if this is for 2024 and forward or also for 2023, 2022
etc etc?
I´m not near in 2024 but might be for 2023.

The deadlines are as follows:
1. Collection of information: Platform operators have already been required to
collect information about their users since January 1, 2023. This includes data
such as name, address, tax identification number and information on transactions
carried out.
2. First notification: The first report of the collected data must be made by
January 31, 2024.
3. Annual reporting: Thereafter, platform operators are required to report the
relevant information on the previous calendar year annually by January 31.

Yes, it’s automatic, everybody sees it.
In the second case, I have provided all the requested documentation and at the

No worries. As the message says, you can ignore it if you already provided the
info, especially as the admins (not “moderators,” we don’t do that ) told you
it was okay.
