Once the results are known, the authors can do whatever they want with their
creations:
— They can make them better and resubmit them in a next series.
— They can distribute/sell them elsewhere, or they can sell the instructions
in their shop here.
— If the MOC Shop eventually comes back, they’ll be able to sell the instructions
there too.

For instancne, I put one of my failed submissions on Rebrickable (for free) after
someone asked me about it. Otherwise it would have stayed in limbo, with my
other submissions.
