I would need to see images of these parts next to images of the white parts from
the hockey sets from 2003.
For one, there is no PCC for that part in pearl white that we know of. The first
white PCC for that part was made for the hockey sets, and those sets did not
use pearl white. The second white PCC was made for the Bionicle Stars line much
later.
Secondly, pearl white was only used in the Bionicle Rhakshi Kurahk set as far
as it is known. Any leftover white ones that would have been from the hockey
sets could have found their way into the Bionicle floor sweepings sets, but that
part in white was never specifically used in Bionicle prior to that.
We either have a case of a part being produced in a color that was not recorded
internally by TLG or a part that is supposed to be white and maybe didn't
get enough dye added to it.

The inventory data from LEGO also lists these as white. You should be able to
compare these with the 44138 included in the set - Those are pearl white.

With respect to comments made on this thread and official LEGO data showing that
the color of this part in the set is white, I believe there is no actual proof
that the part exists in Pearl White.
Hundreds of white parts are for sale, none with a note that the color is different,
and there are no parts for sale for this request in near-white colors (including
Pearl White).
Also, there has been no photo evidence provided.
So we will reject this request until someone reopens it with proof.
