I've decided to start one big thread where I can post photographs of my mocs.
I can't use the mocs page because I don't have studio or the necessary
software to download and use it. I figured that instead of using another Lego
related website I could just use the forum page. Feel free to ask questions about
a certain moc. Thank you!

B.M. Clark bulk livestock feed trailer with auger for unloading feed or grain
at farms.
The trailer also has blower pipes for unloading feed or grain via a blower (which
is just a fan that blows the feed into a bin).

Mack R700 tractor truck. This is actually my first truck model I built, I built
it in 2021.
Originally it was shorter and did not have the toolbox, stepped hydraulic tank
and winch. It also had originally smaller fuel tanks. The headache rack (bars
behind the cab) was from a official Lego set (ironically it was from a logging
truck set).

Mack R400 dump truck.
Modeled after Mack R400s built in the late 1960s.
You’ve done a nice job on these. Do you have a bar or hose running through the
auger so that the 1x1 brick rounds have more stability? If not, do you find that
it falls apart? The grain bin is a neat build, I might see if my son can replicate
it and build a top for it similar to a real one.
Out of curiosity, do you farm? There aren’t too many agricultural MOCs on Bricklink,
and I see the IH logo next to your username 🙂.

Yes I have a bars running inside the auger. And no I don't farm but my family
used to own a feed mill and I'm a big International harvester fan. My grandfather
used to have IH bulk feed trucks back in the day. The bulk livestock feed trailer
is a model of a real trailer that belonged to my family. Thank you for the kind
words!

And yes, IH is far better than the green patotos

Unfortunately none of my trucks are in minifig scale, if they were in minifig
scale I don't think the cabs and hoods would look right.

Very nice builds, and worthy of better presentation Here's a some quick
tweaking of the very limited file uploaded here. The original pic file would
allow for further/better refinements, however.

There's a chance it could just be my lighting, if you look at my Brockway
models I took those photos outside and the other truck photos were taken inside.
I'm gonna see if I can change my lighting a bit. But thank you very much
anyways!

Yeah, unquestionably lighting among others things The point I'm trying
to make though, is the importance of "presentation" Give your creations
that which those creative efforts deserve. Many right-side of the brain types,
don't appreciate the importance of such and often stop short of the effort.
Should you need help with it going forward, just let me know.

You are correct in the presentation point, I have only started putting up photos
of my mocs within the past few days and I see other people's mocs and the
photos look incredibly good, my set up is literally some cardboard boxes I taped
together with some large pieces of paper that are also taped on for a backdrop
and I'm using my cell phone as a camera. Alot of people have professional
equipment to take photos of their mocs, I'd take the photos outside but if
it's night or it's raining than the photos would look horrible. Thank
you again!

You might be surprised how much you can do without so-called "professional
equipment" and how many of those others you're referring to, don't
have such either. You can do a lot with just a cell phone camera (especially
today's phones) and what's laying around the house and a rudimentary
understanding of photography. Which doesn't cost anything beyond your time,
to gain.
Anyway, I look forward to seeing what you're gonna present here in the future

I'm probably gonna start posting more photos within the next few hours. And
yes it is amazing what can be accomplished with just a cellphone camera. I have
attached a photo below of my setup. Thank you for the input! And have a great

I've used freezer paper before in a pinch (for very small objects) but some
brands have a weird splotchy quality to the paper side so you need to over expose
by about 2 stops to blow it out.

I don't think it my backdrop, I think it's the lighting that's messing
my photos up. What do you think? The photos of my Brockways look pretty good
but that was natural lighting. Thank you for the idea though.

If an image is wider, it’s resized (and thus modified).
Otherwise, the pic isn’t modified at all.
So, if you think your pics are good and that it’s the forum that make them look
bad, reduce their sizes yourself before attaching them.

Well, it’s 227 x 110, so it’s smaller than 640 and the forum didn’t touch it…
but it’s a bit small to be sure.
Though, AFAICT, lighting isn’t very good.
(To keep the same aspect ratio and still not have the forum interfere, you can
go up to 640 x 310 with this image.)

Some unfinished mocs that are truly my own because none of them are models of
a specific real truck. The Brockway 761 is a tri axle that will have a B.M. Clark
bulk livestock feed body on it, the Mack R400 will have a box body and the Mack
DM800 will be a tractor truck and the Mack CL will be a tri axle dump truck.

Brockway Superliner. Alot of people don't know that the Mack Superliner actually
started at Brockway trucks... well just the name "Superliner" did. In
the mid 1970s Brockway was looking to modernize the 700 series, so they started
building prototype trucks and gave the new truck the name "Superliner".
Unfortunately due to labor strikes Mack closed Brockway in 1977 before the Superliner
could be put in full production. Mack had been working on a new truck for the
western market called the "RW" and after the closing of Brockway Mack
decided to use the Superliner name for the RW. This Lego model is of 1 of the
Brockway Superliner prototypes I'm also building a display for it that when
finished will look like the inside of the Brockway truck plant where the Superliner
was being developed. I have attached some photos of the some Brockway Superliner
prototypes taken in early 1977 before Brockway closed.
I've decided to start one big thread where I can post photographs of my mocs.
I can't use the mocs page because I don't have studio or the necessary
software to download and use it. I figured that instead of using another Lego
related website I could just use the forum page. Feel free to ask questions about
a certain moc. Thank you!

1950s cable dump trailer moc prototype. In the 1950s before dump trailers had
hydraulic pistons to raise the body they were cable operated by a winch mounted
on the truck, the cable ran from the winch to a pully located at the rear of
the trailer, the trailer brakes would be locked so as the body raised up the
truck would back up towards the trailer (the brakes on the truck would not be
engaged). These cable dump trailers would be obsolete by the 1960s and 70s but
they were state of the art at there time. This is the second cable dump trailer
prototype I've built, I wanted to build a Lego dump trailer but Lego doesn't
make a telescoping piston, so I settled upon a cable dump trailer instead. The
string is not Lego but other than that it is 100% Lego, I currently have it hooked
up to a unfinished Mack R685st tractor truck. This is one of my favorite trailers
I've built so far even though it's a prototype. If you have any questions
about it than just ask!

For a prototype the colours are pretty good, mine always look like a rainbow

Hahaha I gonna be posting more photos of prototype trucks soon and those ones
are all different colors lol
