after 22yrs, we've decided to retire and will be closing our BL store on
30 September 2024.
Its not a decision we've taken lightly, and we've still got over 157,000
parts in stock which we need to sell.
If anyone is interested in buying our entire stock (we're in the UK), please
drop us a line to have a chat. Our current retail stock value is US $15,352.54
/ GBP £11,719.50
We'll probably end up disposing of it all in various lots on a well known
auction site in all reality.
Thank you to everyone who's bought from us since we first joined in 2002,
its been great fun, but with Phill being 70 next year its time to say good bye
and hang up the Brick Separator one last time.
Best wishes to you all,
Claire

Thank you for 22 years of participation, and for helping to make BL what it is
today.
Wishing you well in whatever you choose to do from now on, congratulations in
running a very successful and professional store for so long.

Enjoy your retirement.
It's always kinda sad when one of the old time stores closes down.
Kind regards,
Peter

Thank you to everyone for your kind replies, it will be very weird not being
a part of the Bricklink family after over 20 years, but the time is right to
call it a day and enjoy what's left of our twilight years.

Good decision! Thanks for being so long with us.
Out of curiosity, what age are you? Early sixties, late sixties, early seventies,
late seventies.....

Don't know either. But my sincere well wishes go out to the non fictitious

I appreciate your effort to make light by bringing humor to the discussion
I looked-up what you referenced: Phil Coulson of the S.H.I.E.L.D series, right?
Humor, especially in dealing with tragedy, is classical wisdom. So many sadly
have lost that connection to our fundamental nature. So I thank you for that,
my friend.

Greets Martin,
I'm 53 but struggling now due to arthritis and Phill is 69. The arthritis
is really affecting my hands, so as you can imagine, trying to separate used
parts, take broken arms off minifigs, etc, is proving to be difficult.
Best wishes
Claire

Thanks Claire, I can imagine how arthritis is affecting you working with tiny
LEGO parts.
I am 62 years (63 next Sunday) and I already suffer from the fact that I simply
have less energy than I had when I was 50-something
