Context: I have ordered Stormtrooper sw0036 and sw0036b about 5-10 times and
almost every single time, I received a Stormtrooper with the wrong helmet (30408px6
instead of 30408p01).
Can we please add a description to all the Stormtroopers that have 30408p01 to
state that it is very easily confused with the newer version?
Something like: ''The helmet on this minifigure, 30408p01, is very similar
to 30408px6. This minifigure is supposed to have a black mouth, whereas the other
one has a dotted mouth.''
or a better description if you can come up with one... this was just an idea.
This would save sellers a lot of refunds, and buyers a lot of frustration.
You could also do it the other way around for the dotted mouth Stormtroopers
(https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=30408px6&in=M). But I think the
problem occurs less there, since there a lot more of the dotted helmet compared
to the older one.

As someone who has looked up many SW helmets I was wondering if BL could/would
add more photos of each helmet to the page -- in this case a close up of
the main difference (s) would be sooooo helpful! And close up photos of the
colors on the side would be great, too!
Would be easier on sellers who are not SW savvy and buyers who just want to receive
what they ordered!
Like this, which I think is 11217pb09 (?) -- it doesn't fit with any
of the sets in the lot I bought...

If it’s to show a difference between similar parts then yes. For example

(I’m almost 100% certain there are similar images for minfigure parts that are
similar but I couldn’t think of any specifically off hand)
