I’ve put together several lists and am ready to purchase LEGO bricks, but I’ve
hit a roadblock: most sellers require PayPal for payment.

I've explored other platforms like BrickOwl and Rebrickable, but BrickLink
seems to be the best option. Unfortunately, my PayPal account has a 'limitation'
on it without any clear explanation, even though I set it up specifically for
BrickLink transactions.

Has anyone else experienced this issue with PayPal on BrickLink? If so, how did
you resolve it? Alternatively, does anyone know of sellers with a large inventory
of bricks who might accept other payment methods?

I’ve been trying to make these purchases since February 2024, and it’s almost
September! Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Close to 3,000 transactions here on bricklink using PayPal, never an issue.
Like others stated, maybe contact them first...

I experienced this exact same issue in June 2024. It was indeed a pain in mu
aussie ass.

1) It was not Paypal (although Paypal was the carrier). It was my bank choosing
not to allow Paypal transactions exceeding 3000$ in a 24 hr period or 10K in
a week.

2) you need to do an authorization within your bank, not Paypal.

The second part is alternate payments.

1) Stripe was a beneficial platform a couple of sellers in Texas, Tennessee and
NYC used to assist me,

2) Much larger transactions I did bank wire transfers and had the sellers manually
change there invoicing to "paid", "shipped" and completed eventually.

Hope that answers your questions. It was as frustrating as hell for me and I
was always worried about sellers thinking I was talking crap and wasting their
time.

How much are the transactions for?
Do you have a PayPal balance?
Do you have payments coming from a bank account?
... or credit card?
Have you used PayPal on other sites?
