By now, many of you have been using Brickognize to help in identifying parts.
We use his site quite a bit, and it saves us so much time when going through
a batch of used parts (especially of course in listing minifig torsos, legs,
heads and such).
I have been in contact with Piotr Rybak, one of the people (or maybe the sole
person) behind Brickognize. As Brickognize is saving us hours in listing parts,
we wanted to send a donation to Brickognize as a token of our appreciation and
to maybe offset some of the cost they are incurring in developing and hosting
this site.
I have advised Piotr to put up a "Donate" link on his site that points
to their Paypal account. He hasn't yet made that change, but we do have that
Paypal link available. We don't feel comfortable posting this info in the
forum though.
If anyone wants to make a donation now, you can either contact us through this
post, or look up Piotr's contact info on the web site and send him an email.

Is there a mobile app or do you have to use the web version?

It is just the website however it will access your phone's camera (at least
on iOS) from the website
On an iOS device, when you are on their web site, you can click on the icon with
an "arrow up", and the select "add to home screen". It will place
an icon on your home screen, and from there it acts (almost) as a native app.
