What happens if I buy a set from someone and they send me the set in the box
and such but it is a knock off or something. What do i do in that sense, am I

You would file an NSS (Non-Shipping Seller) and start a PayPal claim (if you
used PayPal) or a chargeback with your credit/debit card (if you used Stripe).
I don't think you could expect the actual set to be sent (if the seller had
the actual set, one hopes he or she wouldn't have sent the knockoff!), but
you would definitely be entitled to a refund.
But a word of caution: if a deal looks to good to be true, it almost certainly
is.

Check the feedback of the seller before buying. If they have a long history of
selling here and no mention of fakes, you are pretty much guaranteed to get genuine
LEGO.

a knockoff? I'm curious if it's a counterfeit I once found.
