Sellers leave feedback once in a while for a large number of buyers.
You can check if a seller leave feedback or not by checking his feedbacks left
for others.
Some sellers leave feedback after they receive one from buyer.

That is mainly for you. Mark it complete if you want to remember if you received
and checked the order.
You can entirely ignore it too. There are many things in life more important
than this1

There is no requirement that sellers or buyers must leave feedback for transactions
on BrickLink.
Order status is completely separate from Feedback. As a buyer, you can mark your
order Complete whenever you want, normally after you have received it, checked
it, and found no issues that need to be resolved.

Many sellers will not leave feedback until the purchase is marked Complete -
for that matter, many won't leave feedback until the buyer does.
All of the sellers opening greetings upon placing an order invite positive feedback
OR "contact me if there's a problem". I suppose the messages are
generic and perhaps they couldn't care less? Was just wondering if I fully
understood how Bricklink works with marking orders complete. Forum experience

Feedback is completely optionnal, on both sides.
In short: don't expect it.
But, as a buyer, I NEVER give a feedback if the seller FIRST didn't provide
me one.
Because a buyer has only to place a fine and easy order and to pay in a decent
delay - that's all.
So the seller should FIRST give a Positive feedback.
If they don't - but again it's me - then they won't get a feedback.

They definitely care about non-positive feedback!
Anyway, as a buyer I mark an order Received when I get it, then Complete when
I've confirmed that everything I ordered is included. I don't leave feedback
until the seller does (as a seller I leave feedback when I ship, sometimes sooner).
I will always check a sellers feedback left, if it is a greater number than feedback
received I will always post positive feedback once I have received the order
and verified that it is correct.
If the seller has fallen short on leaving feedback I will send a message saying
that I have received the order, everything is correct and complete and that I
will happily return any positive feedback that is left for me. I find this works
well and ensures a better chance at receiving deserved feedback.

process.

I would just message them and ask for a feedback (as a buyer). As a seller, I

process.

I would just message them and ask for a feedback (as a buyer). As a seller, I
wouldn't hassle a buyer.
Looks like they leave feedbacks for 2 out of every 3 orders they get but like
others have said, it's not a requirement but more just a personal preference.
