Hi all

New to selling. Pricing? I look up the prices for a new part in UK. Most start
at 1p to say 15p. Do I use the average 6 month price? Cheers J

I would recommend 5% or more below the last 6 month average

Assuming you know the price of each of your parts, then you can use the 6 month
average price, along with the low and high prices, to guide you in setting your
price.

The pricing will depend on the goal for your business. e.g. To make money, a
simple mindset would be to buy low and sell high. Some example decisions you
might face:

* You bought at 10p and the average is 15p. Do you sell at the average, or are
you go below it to attract more buyers?

* You bought at 2p and the average is 1.5p. Are you happy to sell for less than
you paid? ie. You will need to make back those losses elsewhere in your business.
