Hi all, I had a buyer comment to me that shipping in my store was set to priority
mail. I have priority options as well as ground advantage set. I don't know
how you would set shipping to default to anything. I thought the buyer has the
option to pick any way to ship they want. Any ideas? Thanks!
the "default" shipping option is just the cheapest available option based
on what you set up. if you set up other options those will be available and they
can choose any of them but it will always "default" to the cheapest option

Where do you see the "default" shipping option?
the buyer sees it during checkout when bricklink checks whats in their cart against
the shipping options you made and then shows them the "default" aka cheapest
option

Well, apparently it is only letting a buyer choose the small priority flat rate
shipping option. They only want to buy one piece. I have noticed that a lot of
my orders for only one piece have come through that way. I don't know why
they can't choose how they want it shipped. Do you need to put those options
into different groups?

If you want Ground advantage to be the 1st option buyers see, set that as Group
1 and set Priority as Group 2. If you don't have groups set then the shipping
defaults to whatever is cheapest. If you have them marked as the same group,
then again, it defaults to the cheapest. The other option is to set Priority
as a manual shipping option only .

Yep just checked and its quoting me $10.40 to ship a single .02 part.
Perhaps just have a manual invoice option also as a failsafe option. In my shop
I have a "invoice me for whatever is cheapest" and a secondary method
and about 1/4 of the people will chose that even when the order triggers an instant
checkout option.

So I tried your store with a couple of items (one item each time) and each time
Ground Advantage came up.
I think it's quite possible the buyer chose Priority.

I believe I have figured it out. The minimum buy for ground advantage was somehow
set to $2.00. I removed that and I think it will now work. Thanks to all those
who helped out.
