I've had a store for about 6 months. I have had about 3 new users per month
with 0 feedback order but not pay. They won't respond to emails. Is this
normal? Is it a hobby for people to create accounts and order things with no
intent of buying? Does anyone else have a similar problem and what's the
solution.

Usually just forgetfulness. Changing from manual invoicing to automatic erases
this problem for the most part
I call it the Amazon affect, no one actually knows how expensive it is to ship
something. They can order a pizza and get it delivered for the 6$ it costs to
have a few parts shipped across the USA. Like nubs said, setup instant checkout
and the small orders that won't commit are gone.

I get lots (in the relative sense) of small orders ($1-2) with Instant Checkout.
This month has been a bit unusual but I've gotten 12 orders under $2 so far.
Exactly, imagine how many quotes you would get if you didnt have instant chekout.
3-4x not everyone is buying, you probably have a ton of lookers
