Hello,

I have a question about Pearl Gold items. Let me provide an example of my question.

I have clam shell # 18970 in pearl gold. When I place it next to item # 26047
plate round with bar handle in pearl gold, they are totally different shades.
The clam shell is a lighter pearl gold color and the plate round is a darker
pearl gold color.

If Clam shell # 18970 is pearl gold and it appears a light pearl gold color then
how can #26047 also be a pearl gold color but is much darker? I don't see
a dark pearl gold color for #26047.

Another example is # 15070 appears to be a darker pearl gold color and when compared
to item # 20310 it is a lighter pearl gold color.

The shade difference between some of these pieces is very substantial.

Any help with clarifying this is greatly appreciated.

Yes, pearl gold is all over the place. It is usually not too bad if you compare
all the same parts in a single set, as presumably they all came from the same
production run. But when C-3PO has slightly different coloured arms or legs,
it is annoying!

Thank you very much for helping with that. I will hold onto the darker pearl
gold items until I have enough to list as a darker shade. It really is something
to see when you have them side by side.
