For several years now, there's been a version of part 4209 with open studs.
I can't find it in the catalog, apart from the picture for part 4209c09.
Is there a reason this part has never been inventoried?

There’s a note an 4209’s page (maybe it’s collapsed by default for you?):

“Holder exists in versions with solid and hollow studs. The solid studs version
has holes in all four corners and is reinforced on the inside and the bottom.
The hollow studs version does not have these features.”

Thanks, I just overlooked it in hastiness. But, I wonder why it has never got
an own catalog record.

Yeah... isn't that a difference that is usually recognized as a functional
one?

I tried to submit a catalog alternate entry multiple times, but it always was
rejected. I'm not sure why, because this definitely is a noticeable functional
difference, not something trivial.
