I finally found an app that can scan minifigure boxes.
As you know, you can no longer recognize minifigures by feeling them. So there
is an application that a customer gave me and I tested it on the 26 series and
it works very well.

The only small problem is that it's only on AppleStore.

The application is "Minifig Scan": https://apps.apple.com/app/id6475598662

scan the barcodes to see what they are as well, i learned this out of one of
the lego groups i am in on social media and it has been a blessing so i no longer
have to feel for certain ones, hope this helps as well.

Try the bricksearch app.

It has a scanner built in.

(an update of the android version is waiting for Google validation to display
images. The Apple version already displays them)

Even easier, any phone that has an app which reads QR codes gives you the answer.
Many now (all rencent?) have this app by default.

You'll get a number with 7 digits, just check the last 2 digits.

For US:
17 Blacktron Mutant
18 Ice Planet Explorer
19 Impostor
20 Robot Butler
21 Alien Battlezoid
22 Retro Space Heroine
23 Nurse Android
24 Flying Saucer Costume
25 M-Tron powerlifter
26 Alien Tourist
27 Orion
28 Spacewalking Astronaut

Hint, copy/paste this list to an email to your phone, or easier take a picture
of this list in the forum or any place.

For EU they're different:
85 Blacktron Mutant
86 Ice Planet Explorer
87 Impostor
88 Robot Butler
89 Alien Battlezoid
90 Retro Space Heroine
91 Nurse Android
92 Flying Saucer Costume
93 M-Tron powerlifter
94 Alien Tourist
95 Orion
96 Spacewalking Astronaut
