is there a good place to identify non-lego bricks?

Do you mean, identify as in tell they're not Lego, or identify as in figure
out where they're from? If you mean the latter, I don't think there is
such a place. If you mean the former, you can apply some principles. This piece
has hollow studs where a Lego part would tend to have solid ones; there's
no Lego logo on it (this isn't definitive but a piece like this would have
one, if not one on or in each of the studs); and it looks cheaply made (this
isn't definitive either, there are definitely some Lego parts that look cheaply
made too).

No, I don´t think so.
There seems to be no Lego Sign on the brick and the manufacturing quality also
seems to be lower than the Lego quality.
