| Hi all, I’m in the middle of putting together a minifigure display and need some
ideas on how to non-permanently attach Lego plates to raw wood.

I would recommend using the train track element.
If you notice there are purpuse made screw holes. Perfect for the base of the
display.

attach" the reasonable ability to remove at some point?

Staple baseplates to the board and then build on that.
There are some timber tables available that have Lego baseplates inside them
already.

Agree, I did this, cutting them nicely squared and screwing them finely (hiding
the screw head), then building on the baseplates.

I like the double sided tape tabs that are made for putting hooks on painted
walls. No residue that I have noticed.
