I'm not a seller but been a buyer on bricklink for years now. The last 2
months have been a disaster because of some new law that makes it impossible
for most, if not all sellers on bricklink to follow the rules to not have the
buyer be sent customs fee that was all ready paid. Please Bricklink, you need
to be aware of this and see if you can help with the problem. Bricklink is supposed
to be voec registered, but it might as well not be.

BrickLink has done everything regarding Norway registration, tax application
and payment.

Problem is the sellers who aren't aware of what's they're required
to do - or may forget from time to time. I'm not sure how BrickLink can "fix"
this...

One thing's sure; I'd be a buyer in this case, I'd NEVER pay the
tax twice. Simply refuse the order, let it go back, and ask for a refund (or
NSS, or PayPal claim if necessary).

This may help educating the said sellers?

Bricklink already provides all the necessary information to sellers, this is
an order we got from Norway a couple of days ago:

Progress is not always for the better.

This is one of those cases where it seems an improvement (technically) what in
real life generates more paperwork so less people will be connected to each other
and the administration world takes control of the real world. The effect: Norwegians
will buy local only. Here's your "..... first!" at play in another
part of the world.

So sad if technocrates decide about processes they seem to refuse to comprehend
and demand non-technocrates to follow and stand in line.

(And no: this is NOT about fair taxing etc. This about a completelly different
issue: an over-controlled government that tries to catch small fishes so the
sharks can grow bigger).
