Hi,

I'm sure I saw something a while back that Bricklink were going to start
declaring to HMRC when a seller has gone over the £1000 personal allowance threshold...has
this started yet?

The reporting should be for 30+ sales or £1700 in Sales plus postage. All marketplaces
should be reporting it now, but whether BL is doing it, who knows?

Personal allowance in regards to additional income is only £1000, I'm not
at that yet and intend on stopping before I get there and properly concentrate
on next financial year with a tax return.

Surely the 30+sales is irrelevant if under the allowance?

The 30+ sales / £1700 is the threshold when the marketplace must report your
sales. The £1000 is when you declare it. I don't think the first reporting
point is until Jan 2025 (for this calendar year).

Ah now I understand, I will still stay under the 1k for this year as I had 6months
off with house renovations
