I wish for an automated tool/script to add comments to lots that are merging

Adding the comments, combined with physical checks are very time consuming.
Since there are many shops who have their store combined with regular jobs like
myself.
The time i have available to put towards my shop is limited.
This fact combined with to continue to operate the shop and serve customers gives
even smaller windows of time available towards backtracking inventory adding
comments.
I feel like a automated tool towards adding the comments to the lots is a fairly
simple project; but it could give loads of time because it enables the user to
postpone the physical check after feb 15th while maintaining their inventory
as is with difference in their lots.
But I suggest better to search your inventory with frost*, 3626c*, 3626b*, 7
Teeth, 9 Teeth, etc. and paste the same note to all results for each.
Im working on the manual check now slowly. But my inventory is slightly split;
early days no drawer system. So some lots are or have split into being in a ziplock
bag while the majority of the it is already in drawers.
I did intend on backtracking the ziplock bags, and the merge and checking it
does remove some early day errors ive made.
But these combined all make the 15th a very rough timeline..
