Is there an easy way to tell Light Grey/Light Bluish Grey and Dark Grey/Dark
Bluish Grey bricks apart? Is there any lighting options that make it easy? I
am having quite some trouble telling these color variations apart.
A good led light can help quite a bit in addition to if you have examples to
compare them against. You could buy a part that only appeared in light gray and
another for light bluish gray and use those with the light to separate them

Good lighting and comparison bricks; also keep in mind that the old greys look
yellowed when compared to their bluish counterparts.

Dark Gray and Dark Bluish Gray are not very difficult when you have familiarized
yourself with them. Light Gray and Light Bluish Gray can defy a good eye without
a reference. Get yourself a little bag with a piece from each in it and keep
it handy.
Thanks for the input. I have bought some 8x16 baseplates in Light Grey, Dark
Grey and Dark Bluish Grey to use for reference. That should make it easier.
