i have a set that is not complete, is there a way to part out with a quantity
of zero and add quantities as i verify i have each part?
Sorry if this has already been asked, but I'm new here and still trying to
figure this all out.

You can use the check box:
Exclude all items from upload by default
so they will all be deleted unless you uncheck each box.

Sorry, I just reread that and it's as clear as mud.
Part out your set at Quantity 1. Use the Exclude checkbox to mark all items Delete.
Then go through and uncheck that box for the parts you do have.

Hi Jennifer
I have bought and sold many incomplete kits and the easiest way to check parts
is to use an excel spreadsheet, I can send you a template if you like, its very
easy to use especially if you are good at copy/paste and have a basic knowledge
of excel.

Would it be possible to send me a copy of that spreadsheet?
Thanks

This is the correct answer. Works well, is very easy, and saves me time.

For parting out incomplete sets, for missing parts there should be a button that
says “delete” select that then verify part out.
